But nonetheless, you were one of my favorite principles.”

Upper School counselor, Susanna Short, said, “Principal Delgado, I just hope you know that the love and the compassion and the hard work and the intelligence, and a deep sense of justice and equity that you have brought to the school will live in each of us as we go forward.”

[PHOTO NINE] Delgado said, “The first thing I want to be able to share is just how deeply I have loved being a part of this community and working here and I think one of the things that I’ve cherished about this, this time that SPA the most. And I hope you’ll carry this with you: to always work in a job that makes you a better person. And this has made me a better person working here and being with you and learning from you. And otherwise, it’s not worth it.”
